Yes, we are back in Chengdu! It's been a full two months, full of unexpected twists, and now we are back in China.
Here's a quick review:
1. In May, we were in the US for Heidi's college graduation.
2. Soon after we arrived in Wyoming Hillary had two serious allergic reactions.
3. Late May, Haley left for The Oaks, a Christian camp North of LA. She began work there teaching art.
4. June 4, Todd returned to China while I, Lisa, stayed back in the US for an extra month to make sure Hillary was ok.
5. Mid July, all of Hillary's medical tests came back fine. The doctors conclusion was that she had a severe allergic reaction and nothing more.
6. Late June, I return to China, while Heidi and Hillary remain in Cheyenne. Both girls are working fast food this summer.
The first two days after I returned to China, Todd and I were able to visit some historic sites and do some hiking in Beijing to celebrate our belated anniversary. After those two days we hit the ground running both in Beijing and Changchun. Our time was filled with training, visiting and sharing. We are thankful for all the opportunities.
Please lift:
1. Heidi as she heads to Denver Seminary the end of August,
2. Hillary and Haley as they drive bake to college at about the same time,
3. Todd and I as we continue working with folks in Chengdu and other areas of China,
4. Summer (the Chengdu humidity wears a person down).
