Getting Ready for College

As our girls grow up, life transitions seem to move a break-neck speed.  This has been a summer of transition. 

"So what's up?' you might be asking.

Hillary is going to college!!  Our family is back in the US for the summer preparing for this huge transition.  How have we been preparing?  

Hillary Chengdu

Here are a few:
Hillary sharpening driving skills,
Haley getting drivers license,
all three girls are working this summer, spending time with Heidi, Hillary and Haley refreshing their American banking skills, seeing family, renewing friendships and more!!

Todd's Special Adventure

Twenty-four hours after we landed in the US, Todd was in the hospital with and appendectomy.  We truly Praise God for His perfect timing.

Family in Ohio

Hillary and Heidi head to Crown College August 17 (orientation starts August 22).  Todd, Haley and I will travel with the girls and get them settled before heading to Ohio for a week or so.  

So when do we return to China?  October 4, 2011

Where will you be in China?Yes, we are returning to Chengdu, Sichuan.

Our family truly appreciates ELIC allowing families the time to get their kids settled in college.  Still, we are excited to get back to China, back to Chengdu, back to the clinic, back to teaching English and back to all He has called us to do.

Please continue to remember:

1. our family as we leave two in the US,
2. Hillary as she begins her first semester at Crown,
3. our return to China and all the preparations we have these next few months,
4. our financial support. ( Our account has basically moved from the red to the black, but we need increase our monthly support.
