How is the clinic? Great question! As of about a month ago the clinic had one last step until licensed. The last hurdle was the deposit of start up funds into a bank account under the clinic's name. The funds must be electronically transferred from a US account to the Chinese bank account. The funds can't be a penny less and can't be more than 1% over the required amount. At first glance it all sounds very easy, but actually its not. Remember the money must be transferred from the US account (US dollars) to the Chinese account (Chinese RMB). The dollar to RMB exchange rate is flexible. When Todd wired the money it was one rate, and when the bank received the money it was another. That means the ammount was exactly $10 over the 1% which meant the ammount was unexceptable. Yes, we had deposited $10 too much because of the exchange rate, so the money would have to be wired back to the US account and the license would have to wait. We are so thankful that He is in control and not us. To make a long story short, the exchange rate changed, the money didn't have to be sent back and the last hurdle has been cleared. PTL!
Please Remember:
